OVERVIEW:  Support a 2000-workstation, 2000 laptop, and 20-server (voice, video, and data) environment serving approximately 3000 users with e-mail, inter/intranet services, security, printing, and applications. Also responsible for all peripherals such as laser printers, plotters, scanners, and digital cameras. 

 

STARTING PAY: $20.58 hour

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience as a Technical Assistant or similar role
• Understanding of technical aspects related to IT systems and software
• Proficiency with software coding
• Proficiency in MS Office, Google, Apple, and spreadsheet software
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff
• Strong problem-solving skills

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in the coordination of technical projects
• Prepare and maintain reports related to technical data
• Ensure the proper organization and accessibility of technical documents
• Assist in troubleshooting technical issues
• Conduct research to support technical projects
• Provide administrative support to the technical team
• Communicate with customers to understand their technical needs
• Assist in the setup and maintenance of technical systems
